KSU Lecturer A. Zholdosheva Participates in the International IPC “Nomadic cultural heritage – national handicraft value”
Aygul Zholdosheva a lecturer at the Faculty of Art and Design of Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev —teaching Costume Technology and Fine Arts and Textiles—participated in the scientific-practical conference titled “Nomadic cultural heritage – national handicraft value” dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbaev. The conference was held in Astana, Kazakhstan within the framework of cooperation among higher education institutions and was attended by scholars and researchers from Turkey, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other countries. During the event Aygul Zholdosheva delivered a report entitled “Traditional national dress of the kyrgyz people.” As part of the scientific-practical conference over 200 craftsmanship demonstrations were presented more than 100 handicraft items were exhibited and clothing collections were showcased.
