KSU hosts frum on «An Indelible Legacy: 80 Years of Education, 80 Years of Victory, 100 years of free speech!»
Today, on April 15, a forum titled «An Indelible Legacy: 80 Years of Education, 80 Years of Victory, 100 Years of Free Speech!» was held at Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev. The forum was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev and the 80th anniversary of Victory Day. The event aimed to commemorate the history of national press, support free speech and promote patriotism among students. Samat Jumaliev, Director of the State Language and Culture Institute, along with the faculty and students of the Institute, participated in the forum. Well-known public figures, poets, writers, scholars and media representatives spoke at the forum. The program included thematic sessions on «100 Years of Press,» «80 Years of I. Arabaev KSU,» and «80 Years of Victory.» During the event, videos and presentations were shown. The forum also featured performances of excerpts from A. Gaydar’s «Timur and His Team» and A. Fadeev’s «Young Guard,» presented by the «Dzerzhinka Theater.» The event was organized by the International Journalism and Media Communications Department of the State Language and Culture Institute.
