Handmade art exhibition held at KSU for Nooruz celebration
Today on March 20, an event titled “The great day of the nation” was held at Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev in celebration of Nooruz. The event was organized within the framework of the Presidential Decree on “National Values” and was attended by KSU Rector Aigul Abdraeva, university administration, faculty members and students.
As part of the event a ceremony for preparing sumolok took place, along with competitions in traditional games such as tug-of-war, Kyrgyz wrestling, ordo, and armwrestling. Additionally, an exhibition titled “The Great Celebration of the Nation”, showcasing valuable handmade artworks created by students and graduates of the Faculty of Art and Design and the Humanities-Pedagogical College, was presented by senior lecturer Layli Amiraeva.
