KSU hosts International Scientific and Practical Conference on «Innovative Approaches in Education: Integration of Digital Technologies and Traditional Methods in Primary Education»

On April 4, an international scientific-practical conference titled «Innovative Approaches in Education: Integration of Digital Technologies and Traditional Methods in Primary Education» was held at Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev. During the official opening, KSU’s Rector, Professor Aigul Abdraeva shared insights on improving the quality of educational processes through the dissemination of modern pedagogical methods, digital technologies, inclusive education, scientific research and innovation in the primary education system.

The conference was attended by KSU’s Vice-Rector for Science, International Relations and Innovations, Aigul Chaldanbaeva, Director of the Humanities and Pedagogical College Toktobubu Ashymbaeva and KSU faculty members. The conference was held in a hybrid format, with participants from the United Kingdom, Poland, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tatarstan, Kyrgyzstan and other countries, including renowned educators, school principals, teachers and education experts.

The conference included plenary sessions and five key sections:

• Section 1: Digitalization of the Educational Process: Balancing Traditional Methods and New Technologies
• Section 2: Developing Critical Thinking and Creative Skills through the Integration of Digital Technologies
• Section 3: Interactive Educational Platforms: New Opportunities for Teachers and Students
• Section 4: Game Technologies and Gamification in Primary School Education
• Section 5: Educational Environment in Character Education and Preventive Measures

During the plenary session, 11 plenary reports (3 of which were online) and 86 sectional presentations were heard. At the conclusion of the conference, a resolution was adopted based on the outcomes of the event. Outstanding speakers were awarded diplomas and all participants received certificates allowing them to publish in the Vestnik scientific journal of Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev. The conference, dedicated to KSU’s 80th anniversary, was a platform for enriching the dialogue on innovative teaching methods in primary education, especially the integration of digital technologies with traditional pedagogical techniques.
