Traditional games competitions held at KSU for Nooruz
Today on March 20, a celebration titled “The great day of the nation” took place at Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev in honor of Nooruz. Organized within the framework of the Presidential Decree on “National Values”, the event was attended by KSU Rector Aigul Abdraeva, university administration, faculty members and students.
As part of the event competitions in traditional games—including tug-of-war, Kyrgyz wrestling, ordo and armwrestling—were held. The winners were awarded cash prizes by KSU’s Trade Union Chairman Nazar Dogdurbek.
The primary goal of the event was to foster national culture, revive traditions, and strengthen patriotism among students.
