“The Epic of Manas in the Digital Age and the State Language: Young Researchers’ Perspectives” International Scientific and Practical Conference at KSU

On April 11, in celebration of KSU’s 80th anniversary, the international scientific and practical conference titled “The Epic of Manas in the Digital Age and the State Language: Young Researchers’ Perspectives” began at Kyrgyz State University I. Arabaev. The conference was attended by KSU’s Rector Aigul Abdraeva, Vice-Rector for Science, International Relations, and Innovation Aigul Chaldanbaeva, Vice-Rector for State Language, Youth Policy and Sports Zhayna Sadykbek Kyzy and Director of the State Language and Culture Institute Samat Jumaliev. From the other side, Bakhityar Rasulov Rector of Andijan State Pedagogical Institute; Mahbubakhon Temirova Head of the Department of Russian and Kyrgyz Languages and Literature at Andijan State Pedagogical Institute; Furkatbek Nodirbekov Press Secretary of Andijan State Pedagogical Institute; Muhammadali Sobirjonov Head of the International Cooperation Department at Andijan State Pedagogical Institute; Saule Asanbaeva Professor at the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University; Aigul Satbekova Academician of the Kazakhstan Pedagogical Sciences Academy; Jarkynbike Suleimenova Professor at the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University and Dauren Ayazbaev Press Secretary of the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University also participated. During the event, speeches were given by KSU’s Rector Aigul Abdraeva, Chairman of the National Commission for the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Melis Murataliev, Head of the State Language Development Sector of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Arkarbek Mamytov and Bakhityar Rasulov, Rector of Andijan State Pedagogical Institute wishing success to young researchers. The event was organized by KSU’s State Language and Culture Institute in line with the Kyrgyz Republic’s Law on the «Manas» Epic, the Presidential Decree No. 126 dated April 22, 2022, regarding additional measures for studying and promoting the three parts of the «Manas» epic («Manas,» «Semetei,» «Seittek»), and the 2022–2027 national program for the preservation and development of national values.
