KSU students visit the State Penitentiary Service under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic
Third-year students of the “Social Work” program at the Institute of History and Socio-Legal Education named after E.Zh. Maanayev at Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev visited the State Penitentiary Service under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the event, students were provided with information about the structure of the Penitentiary Service, criminal enforcement legislation, principles, as well as methods for rehabilitating and reintegrating convicts into society.
The visit was organized as part of the university’s workplace-based learning program, under the guidance of senior lecturer Gulmira Esenkulova from the Department of General History and International Relations. The event was arranged by the Institute of History and Socio-Legal Education named after E.Zh. Maanayev.
