KSU hosts roundtable on «The 12-Year General Secondary Education System: The Role of Secondary and Higher Vocational Education Institutions in Preparing Pedagogical Staff and Implementing Reforms»
Today, on April 15, a roundtable titled «The 12-Year General Secondary Education System: The Role of Secondary and Higher Vocational Education Institutions in Preparing Pedagogical Staff and Implementing Reforms» began its work at Kyrgyz State University named after I. Arabaev. The event was attended by Dr. Dokturkul Kendirbaeva Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Rector of KSU Aigul Abdraeva, the Rector of Osh State University Kudayberdi Kozhoybekov, the Rector of K.Karasaev Bishkek State University Mirlan Dyldaev, the Rector of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University Abdilbaet Mamasidikov, the Rector of Talas State University Jyrgalbek Sharshembiev, the Rector of the Naryn State University named after S. Naamatov Ermek Baibagyshov and the Rector of Jalal-Abad State University Keneshbek Usenov. Also present were representatives of the education sector, international experts from Lithuania and leaders of pedagogical universities and colleges from Kyrgyzstan, as well as international organizations. During the event, presentations were made about ongoing programs in Kyrgyzstan and at the international level, discussing their goals, achievements and future plans. The purpose of the event is to encourage students and educators to understand the connection between education and innovation and to introduce them to various opportunities.
